This most classic of Italian droptops was completed on the 25th January 1963 and delivered to the Alfa Romeo importer in Lugano on the 4th April of the same year. It was registered on the 21st of May 1963. In April 1972, the Giulia was deregistered and dry-stored for the next 35 years. In January 2007 an Alfa enthusiast released the pretty spider from its long hibernation and had the car restored and overhauled as necessary over the next three years. A number of receipts for the work completed are available. To gain a bit more punch a Veloce carburettor setup with two Weber 40 DCOE carburettors was installed. The original Solex carburettor with its manifold will be sold with the car. This Italian gem presents itself in its original combination of white (AR008) with a black interior and is in very good overall condition and, with the most recent Veteran MOT completed in March 2020, is ready for some more dolce vita!
