The last of the air-cooled Porsche 911s, the 993 is the final evolution of the long-air-cooled lineage from Porsche. The 993 boasts all of the innovations and refinement that Porsche learned from building the 911 for 30+ years, creating a simple package of excellent driving dynamics, everyday comfort, and accessible performance. The C4S, first built for the 1996 model year, uses the same wide body as the coveted 993 Turbo and also used the same all-wheel-drive system that the Turbo was equipped with. This Arena Red over tan leather Carrera S was purchased new in Massachusetts on February 13, 1997. The owner of the car enjoyed it mostly during the summertime driving the car less than 1300 miles per year. He had the Carrera maintained yearly. In 2021, the Carrera S was taken to The Boston Sportscar company in Weston, MA where it received a 30,000-mile Service & new clutch assembly including pressure plate, clutch disk, flywheel, and rear main seal. While the engine was out, it received a complete service as well as 4 new Continental Extreme Sport tires.
