This beautiful Alfa Romeo was built on October 31st 1951, and delivered to Alfa Romeo Lugano on November 5th of that year - the original customs clearance certificate dated November 14th 1951 still exists today. During its life, the Berlina underwent a contemporary Abarth tuning with two Weber carburettors and Abarth intake manifold - resulting in a 22 km/h increase in top speed according to the Abarth brochure. After several previous owners and a change of colour from blue to green, the Alfa was faithfully restored a few years ago and presents itself again in the elegant dark blue. The Mille-Miglia eligible sedan has a FIVA-ID, an Alfa Romeo Certificato d'Origine which confirms the matching numbers, and will be handed over to a new owner with the original warranty booklet from 1951. The Alfa Romeo is in very good condition and passed its last MOT as a veteran car in February 2017. The vehicle can be freshy MOT'd on request.
