Brera Touring Drive 2026: four days of passion on the roads of Europe.

There are motoring events that are defined by numbers, and others that are defined by the people who take part in them. Brera Touring Drive 2026 was both.

From 4 to 7 June, thirty-five cars from the Alfa Romeo 939 family covered over 500 kilometres through some of the most captivating landscapes in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Slovenia and Croatia. A journey born out of a passion for the Alfa Romeo brand, but which over the years has become something much greater: an event capable of bringing together crews from various European countries. Indeed, this year’s edition once again saw enthusiasts taking part from Italy, France, Switzerland, Belgium and the United Kingdom, confirming the event’s international reach.

The starting point was Arta Terme, in the heart of Carnia, where the crews gathered for registration and the traditional opening night. Right from the start, there was that special atmosphere that only major gatherings can create: friends reuniting after months apart, new participants ready to join the 939 Privilege family, and a shared passion capable of transcending borders and language barriers.

The first day’s drive took the convoy towards Caporetto, along a route surrounded by lush greenery and the panoramic views of the Julian Alps. After lunch, the journey continued towards Postojna, featuring the picturesque crossing of the famous Napoleon Bridge – one of the most spectacular stretches of the entire itinerary. The evening concluded at the Jama Hotel with an elegant gala dinner, which was particularly enjoyed by the participants – the perfect opportunity to share emotions, photographs, stories from the day just gone and memories of past journeys.

The following day began with a visit to the spectacular Postojna Caves, a true masterpiece of nature and the region’s most iconic destination. Once the visit was over, the cars took centre stage once more on the roads leading towards the Adriatic Sea. The arrival in Laurana, with the cars lined up on the pier overlooking the sea, provided one of the most striking sights of the entire event. In the afternoon, the convoy continued on to Pula, a city steeped in history and charm, where the third evening of the rally took place.

The final leg took the crews along the stunning Istrian coast to Piran, a true pearl of the Adriatic. The cars’ entry into Piazza Tartini provided a fitting conclusion to four days marked by a passion for motoring, exploring the region and friendship. Just a few metres from the sea, at the Hotel Piran, the participants shared a farewell lunch, savouring their final moments together before saying their goodbyes.

Brera Touring Drive 2026 has once again demonstrated a formula capable of standing out amongst events dedicated to modern Alfa Romeos: roads selected for driving pleasure, charming locations, meticulous organisation and, above all, a community of enthusiasts that continues to grow year on year.

As the sun set over Piran and even the last cars began their journey home, the feeling remained that the true value of this event lies not merely in the kilometres covered, but in the bonds forged along the way. A journey has come to an end, but with the certainty that we will meet again, and with new memories to cherish alongside those which, over the years, have made the history of the 939 Privilege Owners Club so special.
